We are a woman-owned, digital marketing agency, proudly located in Chicago and Denver.

Our team consists of a unique combination of content creators, social media specialists, expert copywriters, detailed designers, SEO strategists, and funky creatives.

Why “Burnt Waffle Marketing”?

In 2019, while dreaming up a digital agency, our founder was struggling to find the perfect name. Then, a batch of burnt waffles at her hostessing job inspired an idea that stuck: “Burnt Waffle Marketing.”

What started as a joke evolved into our brand ethos—creating content so authentic and engaging, you might burn what’s on the stove. Quirky? Yes. Memorable? Absolutely. Thus, Burnt Waffle Marketing was born, and truly represents our mission to serve up fresh, hot, well-done digital marketing and design solutions.

SARAH ACHLER

FOUNDER/CEO | Chicago, IL
Sarah is a digital marketer, graphic designer, and near-elder millennial focused on content creation and social media strategy. Fueled by the “perfect” playlist, an “Empire Records” attitude, and coffee, Sarah taps into her passion for strategy, social media, and design to bring ideas into reality. With 10+ years of experience, Sarah has worked for Bay Area start-ups, large companies like Marketo, and some of the top digital agencies in Chicago.
JENNA BALL

CREATIVE DIRECTOR | Denver, CO
Jenna is a graphic designer with a passion for branding, illustration, and all things social media. Originally from Connecticut, Jenna moved to Colorado to work as a ski instructor and later earned her BFA with a focus in Graphic Design from Colorado State University. She is currently based in Denver, CO where she loves to create art, spend time outside, play with her dog, and rock climb.
DR. ANA GUADALUPE VIELMA

OPERATIONS DIRECTOR | Austin, TX
Dr. Ana Guadalupe Vielma is committed to promoting equity and access in healthcare, research and all aspects of her life. She recently earned her PhD in Educational Psychology from UT Austin and has spent the past year traveling and exploring new cities. Now based in Austin, she enjoys cooking with friends, attending concerts, and cheering for Zilker FC.
NIKKI NOVOSELSKY

MARKETING & SALES STRATEGIST | Chicago, IL

Nikki is a digital marketer, strategist, and visionary based in Chicago, but often found working from somewhere across the globe. Strategy is her jam, and she’s known for blending big-picture thinking with eye-catching creativity. With years of experience supporting global agencies and purpose-driven brands, Nikki’s passion lies in crafting custom marketing strategies that make a brand’s essence shine. When she’s not building campaigns, you’ll find her teaching yoga and energy healing, catching flights, or hunting down the best matcha in town.

MARKETING ASSOCIATE | Chicago, IL
Liz is a digital marketing strategist with a flair for content creation, brand development, and market analysis. A native of Chicago, Liz moved back to the Windy City after earning a bachelor's degree in communication studies and psychology from Northwestern University to pursue a career in the dynamic world of marketing. In her free time, Liz enjoys exploring the city's vibrant neighborhoods, enjoying warm weather along the lakefront, and discovering the best coffee shops to work in.

SR. GRAPHIC DESIGNER | Denver, CO
Eli is a multi-disciplinary designer with over seven years of experience working across visual design, branding, illustration, and website design. He has a BA in Design from the University of Michigan Stamps School of Art & Design. He has worked with clients like Wilson Sporting Goods, University of Michigan Athletic Department , Radio Flyer, and a variety of tech startups and marketing agencies. He loves to travel and try new restaurants. In his free time, he likes to kayak, play basketball, and tennis.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER | Ogden, UT
Paige is a New Yorker now living in Utah and a graphic designer with over a decade of creative experience. A former fashion designer and fitness professional, she’s obsessed with branding, websites, and custom merch, bringing a sharp eye for style and strategy to every project. She enjoys outdoor adventures and bird-watching, her two dogs Lily and Nala, along with all things fitness and wellness. Paige channels her diverse background into bold, thoughtful design that helps brands stand out.
